In the lingua franca of today it is called Rhinoplasty, but back in the day, the verb “bob” was widely in use – which means “to cut short” and no matter what you call the procedure, you’ll see that the gent pictured in this photo-essay needed a nose-job real bad!


As difficult as this may be to believe, this surgical procedure predates The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
by several seasons, at least as far back as 800 B.C.. Historians have declared that the earliest practitioner of this cosmetic procedure to have been Sushruta,
the ancient Indian surgeon.
